| Peter is Wood Mackenzie’s Research Director for European power markets. Prior to this position, he spent time in several senior analytical roles, with particular focus on developments and decarbonisation in the power sector. He has also worked as Product Manager for Wood Mackenzie’s European Gas & Power Service.
Peter has been with Wood Mackenzie since 2007.
In addition to his European work, Peter provides research and consulting support in African and Middle Eastern power markets.
Before joining the business, Peter was at National Grid in the UK, leading the production of long-term power generation and energy demand analysis. His responsibilities in this position included scenario planning, external stakeholder engagement, and management of the organisation's strategic view of power supply. He has also held market forecasting, transmission network planning and commercial roles in the UK gas industry.
Peter holds a MSc in Energy and Environmental Technology & Economics from City University, London.
